Within the Flamingo series, your children will be computing higher number additions, subtractions, and multiplications. The focus of the series will be on division. They will display increasing speed in their abacus manipulations and mental arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction and multiplication).
- Performing 8 number sums up
to 1000 including the use of decimal points. All work is timed.
- Performing sums involving
addition, subtraction and multiplication.
- Developing mental arithmetic
skills on five number sums using number bonds up to 100.
- Developing mental
computations involving 2 3-digit sums.
- Improving two by one digits
mental multiplications.
- Performing harder two by two
digits multiplication using the abacus.
- Performing three by one digits division using the abacus.
